Advanced TTC for UY grads at Casa Santosha near Malaga, Spain with Charlotta Martinus and her teacher Emma Brown, 12th-18th September 2020.

This is an advanced diploma course recognised by Yoga Alliance UK and US directed towards graduates of Sivananda Teacher training courses and specifically the Universal Yoga Teacher training. If you are not a UY graduate the course requires that you are a fully trained yoga teacher with some understanding of the Sivananda method.
It is held in Emma’s villa, which houses no more than 10 participants in the beautiful hills overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, in comfortable shared accommodation, with temperatures of 27C.
The week will include:
*variations on Sivananda sequence including Yin yoga session
* lower back pain; causes and how to remedy it
* myths and stories for your class
* introducing philosophy into your class
* a new insight into yoga psychology of the mind (according to revelatory new translation of Patanjalis Sutras, that Charlotta is editing together with Swami Hari Brahmenanda)
* Ayurveda for your students and yourself
This course will follow the normal ashram schedule of
6.00am – wake up
6.30am – meditation and chanting
8.00am – asana and pranayama
10.00am – delicious organic Ayurvedic vegetarian meal
11.30am – Karma yoga
12.00pm – lecture
2.00pm – lecture or walk, Q and A on anything you would like to discover
4.00pm – asana and pranayama
6.00pm – supper as before
8.00pm – themed satsang
9.30pm – lights out
Casa Santosha is in the ideal, peaceful and unspoilt situation, on top of the mountain overlooking the Mediterranean Sea and the valley leading to Malaga. Only 1 hour from Malaga airport with affordable flights flying in from most UK destinations daily.

Teachers: Emma Brown was a Swami in the Sivananda organisation for many years before branching out as an independent yoga teacher and has dedicated her life to Ayurveda and Yoga. She is highly knowledgeable and skilled and has trained in various methods, including yin, chair, Ayurveda and many many more areas.
Charlotta Martinus has dedicated her life to yoga since 2003 and specialises in working with young people, although her interest is broad and general. She has been training teachers since 2003 and is currently editing a new version of Patanjali’s Sutras, which she would like to share with her students.
