‘Still Kids’ Training Programme

Training Programme Still Kids 1 (11- 16yr olds)

Still Kids 1 is a first stage exclusive residential weekend course in how to teach yoga to 11-16 year olds. It runs 9am-5pm on Saturday and Sunday through the year, near Bath. The course brings in specialist guest speakers and teachers. We take up to ten students.

Still Kids

This is a very specialised area, where if taught well, the children will carry the precious gift of yoga and stillness through their lives. The lessons are fun and strong, tailored to suit the timetable, varying from 20 minutes to an hour and a half, incorporating breath work, music, partner work and stilling.

You will need one of the following:

  • A teaching diploma
  • 5 years experience working as a teacher in schools
  • Yoga teacher training

Still Kids covers these subjects:

  • Paediatric anatomy and physiology
  • Paediatric psychology
  • Teaching methodology
  • Behavioural issues and how to solve them
  • Partner work
  • Programme of ten lessons

You will come away with a Still Kids training manual and follow on e-mail support. On top of this, the main benefit of the course, is that you automatically join our pool of teachers who work in the BANES area. This means that you will have automatic cover and support where possible.

The cost of the programme is £450 per person including accommodation and meals.
