Julie discovered yoga whilst working as a midwife on a busy night shift. Feeling exhausted and stressed Julie asked why her work colleague radiated a relaxed bliss, completely unaffected by the stress around them. The simple reply was: “Because I do yoga”. From that moment, Julie’s yoga journey began.
Throughout the next twenty years, Julie discovered the true power of yoga as it strengthened, supported, comforted and healed her through life’s journey. Julie has now taken the opportunity to train as a yoga teacher at Universal Yoga to share the power and healing of yoga with others.
Julie believes that yoga is for everyone, flexible or inflexible. Yoga fits the individual, without judgement or expectation. Julie’s classes aim to release the tensions and stresses of life, healing the body, refreshing and energising to reconnect with our natural, true, inner peace.
