Becky came to yoga eleven years ago as a journalist covering her local centre. Intrigued by her experience there, she began to regularly practise, using it as a tool to relax, find peace and gently stretch a body used to either sitting at a desk or being pushed to the limit running!
Having spent many years practising yoga and with an impending trip to India, Becky signed up to the Universal Yoga Teacher Training Course, curious to study the subject in more detail and leading her on quite a journey.
Becky’s offering comes from the heart, as she aims to impart the benefits of yoga to others. She says: “For me, yoga was a refuge where I could have some time to myself. The most important thing I have found is that all of our bodies are different and that is something to be celebrated – in yoga, you get out of a class what your individual body needs. I think it is all about finding that connection again and listening to yourself. And how you are and what you need will change on a daily basis.”
Classes aim to be a nurturing, peaceful ‘time out’ from daily routines, suitable for all levels.
